the once-white dusky grey cloud bulks
now lavender limned, infused
with slumbering salmonberry crisp crimson, auric
acid yellow, the spry exact creep of electric
orange and turquoise fade to black glitter velvet,
the sun a depthless eye of dying blood
shimmering, volatile unto the night
