shoulder-high grass
heavy heads hanging
to the marvelous blue-dazzle heavens
blackberries snaking below
scotch broom burgeoning
unto the sky
bordered by blossoms
of wild rose already tattered
unto the earth
the barely apparent
nod and twitter of long stems
from the not-apparent wind/spirit
